Tara turns 2 months old

It is indeed true that time flies when you have a little one around. I have been telling everyone around that I can't believe Tara is already 2 months old !!

Our daily routine is almost the same day in and day out now. So I no longer have much to talk about apart from Tara's tiny milestones. But these milestones are oh-so-joyful.

There was one such night when she was getting up every hour crying and had to be comforted. I was so tired and was wondering what else could I do to calm her and that is when she gave me a lovely toothless grin :) my heart melted and even in that tired state I laughed aloud.

She has now started tracking rattles and looking at black and white flashcards. We have also started taking her out for short walks in her pram. One of my favorite sights these days is watching her play by herself laughing & cooing away. All these activities last for very few minutes, but they bring so much joy. Among all these happy moments, the highlight for me is the big smile she has started giving me early in the morning as she gets up ❤️ 

How I wish that time just stood still..

Days with my precious little one

It has been over a month since Tara came into our lives. While the month seems to have flown past, it has brought along a varied set of emotions. I have been at my creative best thinking of techniques to put her to sleep and play with. I had devised a full proof way to calm her down by gently running around the house humming coo chuk chuk. Only later did I realize I should have come up with something easier as running, talking and carrying a baby simultaneously is no joke at all! 3 months with my dear little one

When a small baby is around, time indeed flies past. It feels as if with the blink of an eye, my baby has turned 3 months old. It has been such a joy watching her grow and listening to her babble talk is music to my ears. I don't know if it is me imagining, but I do feel she says a hi to me on and off!! Every day in the morning, as soon as I hear her cooing in her cradle, I rush to tell her a good morning and she gives me such a wide smile the moment she sees me. My heart just melts then and I wish that time just stood still. We have managed to have monthly photoshoots at home for her the past 3 months. The entire process is so much fun but it does entail some amount of collective hard work!! At times, I don't feel like taking her photos or shooting videos, as I just want to enjoy my time with her, but if I don't capture these moments, I wonder how many minute details I'd remember later. Weeks 23 to 26

The past few weeks have whizzed past and here I am at 26 weeks of pregnancy today! I have been largely doing ok, though my pelvic girdle pain remains and worsens the days I don't practice yoga. Fatigue also seems to have made a comeback, reminding me that I am nearing the 3rd trimester soon. I love the feeling of my baby moving inside, reminding me on a busy work day that he/she is inside me, growing day by day. My weight gain continues to be on the higher side when compared to the healthy range and that is something that worries my Gynaec and me! I have been showered with kindness, love from all around. My friends, acquaintances give me useful tips and so do my office colleagues. My super boss gave me a sound advice though, he mentioned that at this stage every person will have a view or opinion, but the ultimate decision makers should be me or my husband.
